Anybody got any tips on long term tire storage (on wheels)? This will be in a shed, too, so temp changes and humidity will factor in a lot! I was thinking of coating the whole tire with one of the petroleum based tire dressings and maybe sandwiching a piece of cardboard between each tire as I stacked them? Thoughts welcome! Thanks,

I stored my 85 442 (chrome wheels) in my grandfathers tractor shed over the winters and when not driving, watch out for mouse piss, it will eat through the chrome.

Ruined one wheel (rust) in a two year period. If there is anyway to keep the rodents out, a good coat of wax should do you fine.

The tires should be OK if kept in the dark, ultraviolet light is the major nemisis of rubber.
