IRL stage motor

Interesting, but not very practical, and hardly any parts are useable for a street SII. They were short strock small displacement motor in order to hold together at the high sustained rpms required. Heads are special Indy heads that require a special intake. Take a look at the valve cover bolt pattern, that's a dead give away.
Intake ports on the heads are square and big enough to drive a truck through!! SII intakes wont work.

I didn't know there was that much variance on all the stage stuff. Honestly don't know much about it at all.. Jon

If I had stupid money id buy it and run it. wonder what it sounds like @ 10000. I like it bc its buick.history and its rare.

The Indy engines do not have provision for a starter, so that may be a drawback? ;)

Electric motor like top fuel.
Or pneumatic.
