Makes you wonder if the reason of some engine blow ups due to certain race fuels. You may have already read this or already posted this on the forums,,, If so administrator just delete the thread.
I lifted a head 3 yrs ago using 113 oct and alky on max at 24 psi with Alky & 60 injectors.
Now I'm at 26/27 psi with 93 oct & 80 injectors with no problem so far. I may have been running lean with the 113 and not even know it, thinking I could just dump in the octane and be safe; I see now you gotta tune for each.
I thought it was interesting though from the mustang guys; here ya go:
