I purchased a used convertor & wondering about the fluid.
Should I drain both the trans & convertor & start over using the same type of fluid in both.
How much fluid goes in the convertor? it is a 9 1/2 in art carr

Yes drain both and put fresh fluid in it.My trans builder has me running type f, but others use dexron 6 and are having success. You put about 1 qt in the converter before put it on the trans
