Just thought I'd pass this along. Did some research and Advance Auto Parts has the Bosch 17014 wideband sensor for $52.96 w/free shipping. All the local places here want $120-160!

No, this is a wideband O2.

it turns out amazon.com has it for $44.39. the only downside is it's not available for gift wrapping

Can someone post the part number or application make/model/year please?

I heard it was for a late model VW. The tards at my local Autozone and/or PepBoys can't get you anything unless you give them a make/model/year.

Never mind, I just found the info thanks to another knowledge backed post by the doctor, Carl Ijames!...
"...VW Part # is 021-906-262-B. It is the front, pre-cat, oxygen sensor."

and I got this from autozone.com today (8/26/2007):

Edit: The sensor I listed is for the 1.8 GAS motor, not the diesel.
