Injector?

Just finished head gasket job # 5 cylinder let go and upon start up the car ran like maybe plug wires crossed? Confident they are not blms are 150 pegged on friends OTC.Compression check showed 150-155. Friend said start the car and pull injector plugs one at a time and if the car starts to miss more go to the next one and if the car runs the same probably bad injector,plug or wire.# 5 car ran the same! Question is injector quits car goes lean blows head gasket ??

Yes, sounds like that is what has happened. Could also be the injector driver in the computer. If you could borrow a scope to put on that injector signal to see if there is any activity, it will tell you if it's injector or computer.
