I need to understand the wiring instructions for the FAST. I see the instructions on the FAST site and according to that here is the way its layed out.

I'm using a Small block Ford configuration.

A Black
B Blue
C Purple
D Gray
E Yellow
F Orange
G Green
H Brown

It also says the following injectors should be plugged in.
Clylinder 1 is yellow
Cylinder 2 is Brown
Cylinder 3 is Orange
Cylinder 4 is Purple
Cylinder 5 is Blue
Cylinder 6 is Black
Cylinder 7 is Green
Cylinder 8 is Gray

I think I understand this, just one question.

For all this to work, does the female plug side of the harness supposed to follow this order
A Black
B Brown
C Yellow
D Green
E Orange
F Blue
G Gray
H Purple

I guess what I'm getting at is that I"m going to eliminate the connector together and solder the wires. IF I understand this correctly this is what I need to do.

Solder Black (Female side) to Black (injector & Male side)
Solder Brown (female side) to Blue (injector male side)
Solder Yellow (Female side) to Purple (injector & Male side)
etc

and the use the following plug to the above cylinders.

Anyone?

That is correct. Why not just change the pins in the injector harness. This is faster & makes it easy to service, like removing the manifold etc.

What makes you want to get rid of the connector? Being able to disconnect the injector harness is a nice thing, both for installation/removal and for experimenting or troubleshooting.
