I need the following:

Timing chain and gears (130k miles on original)
Valve Springs
Cam Sensor (is the Casper's cap worth the extra $$?)
Shocks (original shocks on 130k mile car!)
Rebuild for TE-44

What are your recommendations and where should I get them?

For shocks, I'd suggest Bilsteins or KYBs...best ones out there in my mind... I have KYBs on the GN and Bilsteins on my Suburban...Easy to find w/the vendors here or even ebay...

Thanks man! That is what I've been wondering, should I do the KYB or Bilsteins....?

I put the Casper's cam sensor on mine. It is way easier to set than the OEM. You don't have to back up 25 deg. and mark your dampener, just be sure your on TDC #1 with the valves closed.

There's a price differential between the two with Bilstein's being the pricier of the two... If I recall correctly, the Bilsteins have better rebound damping than the KYBs, but on the GN, I've not noticed a difference. On the Suburban, I do... Really works out to personal preference, I'd suggest searching for either term on the Suspension section for more insight...Hope this helps!
