I need some basic q's answered

I have searched on the site and came up with different answers to the same question so I will ask for myself.

What intake gasket is used for the champion ported iron heads?
I have read standard stock-1200-or 1200 with added oil deflector?

In reguards to the champion irons do you have to spend the 300 to
swap out your intake?
I have read that the stock intake flows enough for the ported irons
I have read that you can do a gasket match port on your own
I have read that you have to buy it because its the only way to do it right
and get proper air flow.

Most use the ported iron heads and the regular Felpro intake gasket from the local parts store.(pic) The 1200 gasket is best when using on the Aluminum ported heads, larger ports.

A ported intake is nice to have done to make it all match but, I have never tried to use a stocker and ported irons. Its either add both ported when I do it or leave it all stock. I have been told to make the ports smooth with no restrictions in the path of the airflow like when the ports or gaskets are misaligned.

Ported Irons and a ported stock intake should work out just fine.
