If you have time next year let's get the Sky Hawk into Daily Driver class!!!

You'd love this event and the Hawk would fit right in!

It'll be ready for that!

Dude that is sick, 130 plus on pump is amazing!

My car's a snail compared to your truck dude.. That truck is wicked.. I'd need 3 set's of pants to ride in that thing!!!!!

Congrats! I saw your car at the midwest challenge in Osceola and it is very cool! You've done an awesome job with it.

Thank you!
I was still having some residual problems from the camshaft gear/cam sensor gear and it was wanting to kind of break up in 3d gear.. Still ran 10.6's-7's at Osceola MWBC
but was letting out of it at 5200.
I'll have that sorted out for next year and be able to turn it up a little. I hope I can reach
a 9.99000 on 93oct next year.
I'm trying to pick up a XFI cheap for the nice fuel maps with MPG being my focus.

CONGRATS, that is awesome! I got it last yesterday and was pretty sure I had seen it before. Nice plug for TB.com too. ;)

Nice job Scott,
Several people probably don't realize how often you drive that car. It is one hellava sleeper. It sounds like a V6 camaro and looks like one when the hood is down. Oh wait it is a V6 camara sorry about that:eek:

I got an idea for ya. How about you tickle the trans brake button on your car once at the track. It needs to feel some love too;) With the suspension you have tied to that 9 inch I know that thing would hook a hard launch.

Come on do it 9.9999999999 I know it is your goal:D

Congrats to ya. HotRod the biggist magazine in the universe I went to Martins last night to get another copy but they were all out!

Thanks!!!!!

I know.. get my skirt off and use the trans brake.. Lol..

Cam issue and safty for the engine and oil press. shut off switch are #1 right now... then I'll work on a couple different tunes.
Hopefully get this old thing in the singles for the first time

Here's a couple pic's of The SkyHawk engine bay.

SuperHawk

Scott, great job on the SuperHawk!! Can't wait to get it out on the track next spring. Already got the drag radials for it. The LS1 Skylark might have to take a back seat for a while. Did you take any of the family with you on drag week?

I REALLY need to get off my butt and get my 73 Vega going with the GN drivetrain. I have almost everything to get it down now besides 30 spline posi and other little things. Major components are in-house now. :)

Thanks!!!!!

Between work and School... I was sent out on my own for the week.

Well.. almost alone.. I took "Dug" from Disney Movie "UP" He went with me and had

quite the adventure.. up in the tower announcing and he was in the pictures for every

check point.. here's a few pic's of his experience on Drag Week. :)
I sent pictures home to the kids and Heather every night.
~Scott.

Doug and I leaving Martin MI 2nd day.

Absolutely awesome! Congrats..... I think you might can get that 9 sec slip on straight pump gas. What a milestone that would be.

What does the car weigh?

Thank you!

Sometimes having a hybrid in the Buick world is a bummer. I feel like a

outcast since most Buick events do not have a class for me to be in and

since it's not in a GN body nothing I do with it really counts in regards to it's

performance since the chassis is different. :frown:

I wish they would skew the rules a bit and allow other bodys to run in classes

if they meet all the requirements (Weight/tire size/turbo/IC ect.) but I doubt

that will ever happen.

So I'll continue to do events like Drag Week.

I'm sure the car weighs at least 3200-3300lbs

I will have to run it across some scales next year.
