Huge improvement with idle...EGR block

I wanted to mention that I had blocked off the EGR lines wrong and my cruise control didnt work. I got under boost and a couple of my hard vacuum lines burst....didnt take much cause they are hard and brittle.
The vacuum tube towards the front of the motor that runs to the EGR system. (coming off the vacuum block)...you need to run a hose from that, to the big barb on the 3 way check valve, and then the 2 small barbs on the 3 way check valve...1 goes to the cruise control diaphragm, and the other runs somewhere under the A/C fan assembly. It runs SWEET!

Don't know if I just got lucky or what, but the only vac. line I still have hooked up (of the 3 going to the driver's side) is the one going to the FP regulator.
The other 2 are capped off.
No EGR. No EGR solenoid. No vac. cannister, and no ball thing under the fender.
The cruise works fine, the engine bay looks a lot tidier, and all the S.M. readings are (finally) great.
Think the real secret was the new paint I put on the hard vac. lines. ;)

For those of you use the powerplate, just don't drill the hole and EGR is blocked. But it will still leak boost to the atmosphere.
