My car shifts around 5500-5600 at the track according to my logs. Im pretty sure im giving up a lot of acceleration since i have a 200/200 cam and a baby turbo/stock heads. Would I be faster shifting around 5000 rpm? Could it be shifting high due to my loose ass converter? I read that you can screw in the spring on the governor or something simple to lose a few hundred rpm? Help me out guys

I hope its something else. The tranny was freshened up a couple thousand miles ago. I know its been revalved/shift kit. im not sure this would raise the shift points. Is it based off the governor and line pressure?
