I "F10" keyed during boot and it told me most of the stuff but not the processor speed. Or, it gave me the info and I don't know how to interpret it!!I think it's a 486 but not sure:confused:

Not really much of a laptop guy, but in general most laptop models are pretty standard.. if it says the brand a build anywhere on the laptop, try googling that.

From the start button go to settings, When open click on control panel. Now find systems icon. Open and you should find what you need.

At the C:/ type MSD this will tell you all about your PC. Only thing is is don't work on newer versions of DOS

Get the model number and search on the manufactor website for the info you need.

I'll try the C:\MSD method when I get a chance. I've tried every internet serch I can think of to no avail.

Its a Compaq LTE Lite 25c. I do know the processor is running at 25mhz.

After looking around I found this info.
I beleive Your model is a 386 Processor.

Wow! Great info. Thanks. I'm sure this one's on there somewhere if it's not the 386 (probably is, though).

Thanks again,

WOW, somebody has me beat. I though my pentium 75mhz with 16mb ram was old, but your is older. At least my battery still holds a charge:D but how fast can that slow of a laptop drain a battery??

Yeah, it's a dinosaur but it's plenty strong enough to run TurboLink 2.13. If it gets stolen or dropped and broken the $$ loss isn't going to drive you nuts. I've got this one and an NEC Versa 486 75mhz so I'll probably sell or trade this one. It's got a docking station with it and everything works great. No battery but works great on AC and a power inverter takes care of using it in the car.
