Hot block

The deck is higher and the oil pan most likely isn't baffled. You'll also have to fab up some sort of turbo drain and I think a 79 is odd fire so the crank won't work. You'll also need a TR specific hub and flex plate along with the crank

Moral of the story, it's most likely not worth it when 109's can still be found on the cheep cheep

You will be money ahead to buy a 109 block. Not sure where your located... but you can post in the wanted section and you will probably find something local. If your in OH / KY / IN, I can probably conjure something up for you.

I wish these blocks had some value. We have 4 or 5 of them sitting around the shop in the way.

The title should have been - hot air block
I'm in Belfry, KY
I have everything for a.30 over 109 or a stock bore 4.1
I would like to have a stage block to put back together
How much for the 109?

I was referring to the hot air blocks we have sitting around. I don't have any 109's and sold the only 4.1 sitting around. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
