hood repair

SOMEONE shut the hood in the middle causing that dent. Any tips on how to get to it/repair it? Thanks Drew

Do you mean right over the latch, directly behind where the hood ornament would be? If so, that's a double walled area that has very limited access. I had Dent Wizard fluff mine up a bit but there's still a sag. Bondo is about the only cure.

mine has the same dents there.. the past owner apparently would rather pound on the hood to get it to pop open rather than re-adjust the latch. i hope bondo isnt the only solution.. im not a fan of bondo. i'd almost rather have dents with real metal than have that crap crack up on me.. then again.. i've only seen the results of redneck handywork.. i might be suprised at the results of a pro....

You could have it heat shrunk BUT on a hood, that can cause more harm than good....

No great way to repair it. It's new hood time OR bondo time.
