I am looking for the best/cheapest place to buy a reliable(adjustable preferably) Hobbs switch. I am building an injection systemand have an idea that I want to try.

Talk to Stevemon. He has a DIY alky system link in his sig. and it contains the part number for a NOS pressure switch. It is adjustable from 8-20psi I believe, but they make them in other ranges also. I have one in my system and it works well

NAPA has 'em too. Pricing is similar, can order them online.

part number 701-1608
turns up in gauges/switches category

You can mail order them from Allied electronics. You can look them up under pressure switches. They are about 16 dollars a pop. The one you'll probably want is part number 611-3018.

hope that helps,

Also you need a way to set the switch at the pressure you want.
I set my air compressor 12Ibs, checked it with an accurate low pressure tire guage, hooked the air to the switch, hooked a 12volt power to the switch, and then adjusted the screw on the switch untill it would "just" turn on the power. Remember to check a hobbs switch often. Mine has been found out of adjustment more than once.
