OK, so here is a werid one that I cant figure out. I start the car and the idle is great. Once I start driving and she gets warmed up and I come to a stoplight the idle is high (1000-1200 rpm). Then when I put the car in park the RPM's sometimes jump to over 1500rpm. I have checked TPS and it is correct, I have no error codes or SES light when this happens.

Now, this has happened ever since I have had the tranny rebuilt by a good shop. I have checked the TV cable and set it to what I was told. Maybe I missed something.

Any thoughts...?

I used the steps on gntype and shifts are on point. Since it is a worked trans I have the shifts a bit firmer.

I have not checked the IAC... I will do that tonight.

Is there anything else that could cause this though?

Do you have a scanmaster ? I'd check the IAC values and look for a vacuum leak.

can of carb cleaner on a cold motor. Spray around all soft connections. The motor will stumble (or sometimes rev a little) when it injests the carb cleaner.

will do tonight for sure.

Ah yes the carb cleaner "trick". Do that for intake leaks... should of thought of that...

Thanks guys...
