Help with installing fiberglass bumpers

Hopefully I will be bolting these babies and the aluminum brackets on next weekend! I have the lights in front figured out but am a little  on the piece that goes from the front bumper to reinforcement in that area. It bolts the two together with five bolts. Is it needed now? Also, should I use the metal spacer plates between the bumpers and the brackets like factory? Any other pointers?

dont know much about it but try it without shims first the if it needs a lil spacing or it one side sits in farter than the other use the shims to correct it

you said farter huh huh.

I didn't use the metal reinforcements when I installed mine. They're not gonna make that much of a difference in case of an accident anyway. As for the shims, you're gonna have to go by the way the bumper fits. On mine, I have shims in the back, but none in the front. HTH!
