HELP - S2 Heads needed

Square port heads
Before you guys get tooo star eyed over the square port heads - know this!!
They were made to work on a very defferent block setup than a standard stage 2 block that we all use. The indy low deck block is 1.250 shorter deck than standard , but the biggest difference is that the lifter bore locations are completely relocated and uses a completely different cam and rocker arms. The lifter bores were relocated because of the width of those intake ports moves the pushrod over so far that the pushrod will not get back to the lifter.
You stage guys know that the pushrod basically rubs against the side wall of the port on standard stage 2 heads, now imagine the problem it creats when the port wall is moved over 3/8 of an inch!!! I have 2 sets of these and have
studied this in depth. Buy the way , Im also in line on these cause I have 2 low deck blocks that Im thinking of doing a project with. Just trying to pass along some info before someone gets a big suprise!! Mike
