Help please... popping and low/no acceleration

Hi guys... so car is back together after redoing heads and valves.

There is popping sounds when i try to accelerate and low/no acceleration. But i can hear engine rev... just not engaging.

Im starting with double checking spark plug wires, then vac lines, then timing.

Any suggestions/ ideas on what my issue is?

I roll out for a 5000 mile trip THIS FRIDAY.... and Im determined to get this figured out.

Coupler hose from intercooler connected and tight ?

Crossed 3/5 spark plug wire... ughhh. Ideling fine now... but i did drive 10 mines very very gingerly on it... could that have caused any other problems?

Could have a small amount of fuel fouling on the plugs but you didn't hurt anything. Glad all is well. Have fun on the trip
