Cannot get through emissions and need someone to look at my setup. Anyone know of any mechanics in the Aurora, Colorado area?

SM-G Readings after returning from 15 mile trip.

737 mv O2
MAF: 3
LV8: 23
Voltage: 13.8
Int: 125-131
BLM: 155
Temp: 192.2
Air Temp: 120.2
TPS: .42
IAC: 39
O2 CC: counts slow 2-7

What were the emission readings? What failed? CO? HC? NOS? Do you have a catalytic converter on the car? Any mods? What chip in the computer?

2018 !st attempt
HC GPM: 3.8172 Limit 2.5 Fail
CO GPM: 14.3584 Limit 20.0 Pass
CO2 GPM: 494.6008
NOx GPM: 2.4582 Limit 4.00 Pass

2nd attempt
HC GPM: 9.475 Limit 2.5 Fail
CO GPM: 39.5179 Limit 20.0 Fail
CO2 GPM: 494.6008
NOx GPM: 2.4582 Limit 4.00 Pass

Trying to give all the info I can. I have no idea what to try next. Seems like I am throwing money at this thing and making it worse.

This is what i have done between tests. New O2 Sensor (new sensor has slow CC counts, bad new O2 sensor?), Removed all oil from all the K&N Filters, Cleaned MAF with MAF cleaner, Cleaned throttle body, New Spark plug wires, New 180 degree Thermostat, dropped fuel pressure. 93 Octane Fuel

Already had new NGK UR4 plugs, Oil/filter change. Fuel pump was replaced about 4 months ago, buy the body shop (car died) OEM fuel pump installed and the car has a hotwire kit already installed. (will have to replace with a high flow.) running TT Emissions Chip, Turned down the RJC Boost controller.

Noticed a small leak between downpipe and Catalytic Converter (would this affect the test?) Same leak was there for both tests.
Have not swapped PCV Valve

155 BLM is high have you checked for Vac leaks?
Also lower your IAC down, some where in the high teens.

Looks like you are running rich. What injectors, chip, MAF? How old is the catalytic converter?

TT Emissions Chip, LT1 MAF, 50 lb injectors. Plugs are bone dry. I attached a picture

Your 02 readings sound off. What brand of 02 sensor did you get? Denso are usually considered the best ones for our car; people have had problems with Bosch. I had been following your previous thread in the Emissions section. Looks like your readings got much worse since.

- I doubt that the downpipe to Cat leak would give these readings.
- Check your PCV valve to make sure it rattles when you shake it. Give it a shot of carb cleaner to make sure.
- Double check to make sure your emissions chip is burned for 50 lb injectors? Eric from Turbotweak can confirm if you give him the chip number.
-How old is your catalytic converter? Grids still good in the cat?
- Leaky injectors possibly? Is it hard to start after warmed up? (Flooded from leaky injectors)

If worse comes to worse, I have a mechanic here 6 hours south of you here in Albuquerque. :)

It was a Bosch O2 sensor. I am going to put the other back in for now. See if the counts are better. Car passed with same TT chip. Catalytic converter has about 30 miles on it. Same one I used when I passed, took it off after that. I will check the PCV valve.

Starts and runs fine, just can't pass emissions.

So I put the Turbo Tweak chip back in and my numbers seem a little better. Do these look more on the normal side?

871 mv O2
MAF: 4
LV8: 31
Voltage: 14
Int: 128
BLM: 134
Temp: 170
Air Temp: 125
TPS: .42
IAC: 27
O2 CC: counts slow 5-10
Open Loop

You're in open loop idle so you are going to be rich. The O2's are 871mv. Way too high to pass emissions. What chip did you have in it before? Is this car all stock? If not, what mods?

Silly question: are you disconnecting the orange ECM wire from the battery before you are changing chips?

Move to Colorado Springs, we do not have emissions testing or if you want to sell the car, let me know.

O2 cross counts should cycle up to 255 and start over within 90 seconds. You might want to get a new Denso sensor. Have you checked your fuel pressure? Do you have any exhaust leaks pre turbo or vacuum leaks? With O2 readings 700+ at idle you will probably not pass. I would think the emissions chip would idle in closed loop but we don’t have emissions here so I don’t know. I have found higher IAT readings adds more fuel so you might unplug it so it will read 71 degrees. I would think O2 readings should be in 400’s at idle to pass.
