Im posting this because after a lot of searching on the forum, I need to just ask to get the answers I'm looking for.
So I've had my
'87 GN in storage for several years, and I am putting in a mad effort to drive it on the road before salt gets laid down here in Michigan.
Before I put it away, I installed a MAFTPRO translator, and to be honest I've forgotten how to use it and do not want to spend the time tuning it, so my thought is to use it as a translator for now and install a MAF sensor.
I welded up a 3.5" aluminum cold air intake for it years ago and so I am leaning towards an LS1 or LS6 MAF because of their diameters.
My question is:
1) does the Ls6 MAF have a 4" outside hose diameter?
2) I understand there is a "screenless" LS6 MAF, used on the Z06 corvette. Is anyone using this with success?
