Help- knocking noise when starting up

I have a 87 109 block. The other day was the first time starting my car in a few months. The car crank up with no problems. After coming back from a drive and letting it sit for a min, I went back outside to crank it and i notice it wasnt starting up. But after holding the gas it fire right up but made a funny noise. So now everything on start up it sound a bottom knock like the oil pump not kicking in. My oil pressure cold is 55 and warm 25, fuel 45.

Have you checked your torque converter bolts?

I would check under the valve covers.

Sure sounds like a cracked flywheel or loose converter. I would check the converter bolts , and if tight, pull the converter back and check the flywheel where it bolts to the crank for cracks. I hope that's all it is.

Just a suggestion...It could be cracked headers, They make ticking sounds coming from the engine.
