using silicone on the studs.....Do I wait for the silicone to dry before I install and torque the heads or do it imediately.

Immediately,in a while,or later. It doesn't matter. No need to wait. No need to hurry.

so after all the questions.....
I got everything back together and road tested tonight.....leaking from top corner just like before I pulled it apart originally but on oppisite corner other head.
it was the left rear now its the right front right up where the oil drains into the valley.....

Im so pissed right now.
Im thinking it might be the intake though.How in the hell can it be the head? Decked the block,new surface on heads,copper coated 9441's.

I need to check the intake but its impossible to see up in there

Hate to say it but it sounds like you have a cracked head.

Did you have them checked for cracks? Did you mark the heads so you put them back on the side they came off of?

If you put them on different sides then they were before and the head had a crack then the leak would be just like you described.

I have done a few head gasket installations using the Fel-Pro 9441's and never have used any thing on them, just installed them dry and have never had a leak doing it this way. I do try to keep my boost in the low 20's though.

Yes had them checked not even the same set a heads. Thanks for the reply though
