G gnx7 Member Joined May 25, 2001 Jun 7, 2002 #4 I always use FelPro 1400 gaskets and have never had any leakage problems. Some prefer to go without any... some prefer with. I believe there should always be a gasket between two metal surfaces for a complete seal. GNX7

b4black Well-Known Member Joined May 24, 2001 Jun 7, 2002 #5 Factory = no gaskets. It worked for the 100,000 Turbo Regals Buick built, and it works for me.
