Just got my new driver side header, ATR. What are the best gaskets, I bought the factory donuts. But what gasket goes between the header and the block?

i prefer not to use any there.

take a strait edge with some sandpaper on it to check all the mounting surfaces and bolt them up

I have that header and use no gaskets. A thin coat of RTV Ultra Copper will ensure a good seal.

I always use FelPro 1400 gaskets and have never had any leakage problems.

Some prefer to go without any... some prefer with. I believe there should always be a gasket between two metal surfaces for a complete seal.

Factory = no gaskets. It worked for the 100,000 Turbo Regals Buick built, and it works for me.
