Guage pod and tape

Alright, I have one of those double a-pillar guage pods that people complain about all the time (I believe it's lotek) and the double sidded tape doesn't work. I've also tried velcro. In both cases the heat in the car eventually gets to the adheasive on both and it falls. The pod also isn't in the right spot to put the factory screw through it. Is there any solutions to this out there? I'm thinking about making a clip of some kind. What has everyone come up with?

Well, I have the 2 gauge pod and I put the stock screw through the top and bottom and it fits fine. The bottom screw kinda goes through the gauge part where it starts to rise (if that makes sense!) But its behind the lower gauge, so you don't even see it.

the only problem with me doing that is that I already have all my wires and pressure tube cut and intalled for a lower position, I cant really go that high. Where it sits now the 1 screw that it covers is right behind the actual guage so I couldn't go through there. Have I dug myself in a hole?

anyone?

I know 90% of you guys have this thing. Nobody has had the same experiance?

You might try some of the 3M double-sided tape used to hold on exterior molding and body kits. If that can't hold it on, I don't know what can.

Mine isn't a lotec, but I had the same problem. Finally removed the silver screw closest to the dash board and put it through the dual guage holder. Until I get a GNX dash and winning the lottery(he he) I don't plan on removing the guage pod. I don't worry about when the pod will fall now.
