Your normal build 272cu, 3.59 billet crank, billet rods, je pistons, gn1r heads, jessel rockers, solid roller cam, 70mm t/b,740rwhp @18psi with 80mm turbo. About 25 passes and few hundred street miles.

A TA aluminum block motor with billet rotating assembly appears to go for $18-$20K new based on previous for sale adds here. That's intake to oil pan and the turbo would be above that price. Similar iron block motors have been advertised here for $15K in new condition.

Used value depends on greatly on condition, history and paperwork. If the seller can prove that everything is in good shape it will be worth more. Being used would probably knocks 25% minimum off the new price. So $15K with the turbo might be a good starting point. That's right in the range of what it would cost to build if you were bargain hunting used parts.

I would want a 90mm throttle body on a TA motor as it is going to take a lot of air to make the big HP that this motor is capable of running. Steve Thompson has 90 mm TB and intercooler piping and he made BIG power at Richard's place last year (www.turbobuick.com Nationals)!
