GNX transmission , how to tell?

bought a transmission that the guy claims is a GNX transmission. How can I verify that it is? Any info is greatly appreciated

did they have bolts for the torque arm ?

It is a BR-F Transmission, just like all Turbo Buicks. Nothing special but was beefed up for increased hydraulic pressure and modified for firmer shifts. You can try to contact the GNX registry with the vin on the case and maybe they could verify this for you.

to a crossmember that was mounted to the frame between the #4 body mounts

All I have is the transmission. So how do I decode the transmission. Would it still be a BRF ?
