dumb question but here it goes. the bolts look short, im guessing the bushings collapse enough under the body weigh so the bolts will bork?

Actually, it's a good thing you asked that question because those bolts and washers belong to something else. Sorry, my mistake. The bushings are to be sold by themselves...no bolts are required. Quote form a vender, "One end is threaded, which seats in a large in the top of the frame rail. The other end has a slight point, which sits into the body."

so basically they just "pop" in anad are held in buy the weight of the car?

Yes. From what I gather, It sits above the rear axle between the body and the frame. They should be installed by a qualified body technician.
