I was down at an auto auction in Atlantic City where there was a 86 GN for sale. The owner said that it had a serious turbo that was double the size of the stock turbo. I checked the spec sheet
and it said ta49
So just to correct all the experts and vendors, the ta49 is not just a good upgrade from stock it's a hardcore race turbo

totally Hardcore on the edge of drivebility and will double or even triple the RWHP.

At least he didn't say it was a V8 turbo or "twin turbo".
