Just out of curiosity, what is the 0-60 on these cars? Stock? 12sed car?
Nobody ever seems to talk about 0-60.

thanks

bone stock in 87 they ran about 4.9 seconds 0-60

the GNX did it in about 4.5 seconds

with mods they will dip below the 4.0 range easily...

my car will do it in about 3.5 seconds now:D

Not a GN but showing 1.9-2.0 60ft times at the track I could get 4.2 0-60 on Direct Scan. Like stated earlier, easily under 4 seconds with good traction (Slicks).

So (THEOREDICLY) our cars could out run any other car from 0-60?
Interesting how all these companies are throwing arround 0-60 numbers like "6 SECONDS!!" Funny that the GN was doing that in the '80s. Interesting

thanks

WOW 3.5 sec!! what do you run in the 1/4? Thats got to be crazy acceleration there!! What are those braided steal hoses on your engine for? Nice car!

I suspect most 10 sec cars get to 60 in under 3 sec.....maybe under 2 sec? figure a 1.4x 60' time, car is prolly at 60 mph at the 60' point.....guess there are some formulas around?

i have the formula at home. i wil put in the number tonight and post it if its not already posted by then.

according to g-tech, ive seen 5.5 out of our 86 GN with 149,000 and all it has is an exhaust , cold air, chip and fuel mods and its a peg leg. Out of my car before the heads and cam, i ran 4.2 on street tires. For reference my sisters stock 94 camaro Z, ran 5.7 and now her new 00 Z28 auto, runs it in 5.3 according to the Gtech.

My 86 T with 189,000 miles clocked a 4.3 on the G-tech. :) Unfortunately with 214,000 miles I can no longer claim that time. :(

WOW I was only able to rip off a 6.0 sec 0-60 and a tail between the legs 14.5 1/4 mile with the g-tech  :( . Hopefully it was just out of tune. Im sure the 17's with low profiles didn't help much eather.

Back in the day, when my T-Type was stock, I ran a 5.7 0-60 with three people in the car and some wheelspin with a Vericom performance computer. According to DirectScan, my WE4 did it in about 3.7-3.8 on it's 12.0@116 run last Saturday with a 2.0 60'.

that's my dual nozzle alcohol injection system;)

also there is a line for the hood mounted fuel pressure gauge...

my car should be in the high to mid 11's somewhere...

I've gotten a 4.6 out of mine on 245 Radial T/As on the street (g-tech). At the track, I'd bet it's sub 4 (low 12 ETs).

Hmm, somethings not right. I put in my 1/8th mile time of 9.65 @ 86 (not sure on the mph). I got a 4.7 0-60.
G-force 6.0
0-60 calculator 4.7
go figure
