Glass installation

Anyone ever replace their windsheild or rear glass? I need to take my windsheild out cause it leaks and I'm painting the car anyway so I figure I may as well take out all the glass and check for rust. How hard is it to put the glass back in and reseal. Is there a kit for this at like Napa or something? Maybe a article on a GN site.

The windshield is imposible to get out without breaking, so plan on buying a new one. i found a glass guy to do it on the side and it cost me $180.00 for a new windshield and to R&R the rear glass from one car to another.

Is it really that hard to get out? Can I just caulk it then?

Its not that its hard to get out, they just always break.

As far a calking, i have no idea, sorry.
