hi was just wondering if I can eleminate the factory boost lights and run the boost line straight to my VDO boost gauge? Will this effect anything? Besides the yellow and orange lights not working

Yes you can. No it won't affect anything.

The boost line doesn't run to the dash. It runs to a pressure sensor under the hood.

Removing the boost/tach module is easy once you get the dash out. Just cut a square of black construction paper or plastic to act a a light seal. That's what I did back when I pulled the module out for a Caspers rebuild.

If you have boost logging hooked up behind behind the glove box for the powerlogger, it will quit working with the module removed... unless you jump a 5V source as a backup.
