gauges/scanmaster

Im planning on getting a scanmaster next week and wanted to know something.
what gauges would i need to get and what gauges do I dont need to get. I dont want to get a gauge if the scanmaster will do the same job as that specifc gauge. Thanks for the help.

Scanmaster will tell you alot of things, but you gotta remember theres a little delay with the scanmaster. So if you like to watch rpms....Id get a real rpm gauge, because the delay on scanmster makes it a little hard to watch. If you dont already have one, I would of course strongly suggest a boost gauge. Id also suggest a fuel pressure regulator. You might want an EGT guage as well. Scanmaster will tell you: knock retard degrees, 02 sensor readings, coolant temperature, battery voltage, rpms, MAF readings, Block Lean Management, Intake Air Temperatures, TPS readings, and MPH.

you could get an oil pressure guage, the scanmaster doesnt tell that......

Hmm...I just realized I said "Fuel Pressure Regulator" ......I meant a fuel pressure gauge...stupid me. An oil pressure gauge is a good suggestion too, as Underdog stated.
