gas mileage

I am thinking about buying this car I found in the local classified ads.
86 regal t-type, 76,000 miles, short blocked engine, bal. and blueprinted, upgraded turbo...something like a T-60 something, $1,200 worth of head work, 3" downpipe. The guy had slips of mid 11 seconds in the 1/4 mile. on the test drive he was running about 20psi. He wants 5 grand for it, is it a good deal? it also could use a paint job and there is minimal rust on the underside of both doors (you can't see it unless u open the door). Buy or pass?

My most important question is about what this car would get for MPG??? any ideas? thanks guys

Seems like a decent price to me. I get around 17mpg combined.

15-18mpg depending on how big your shoes are.

Price seems good too, get him to show you how it runs now at a test and tune night at the local track.

At that milage and those mods, for that price, that is a really good deal! I say buy!

I agree on the Test & Tune night, Some people end up selling some parts before they sell the car (stock parts back on). Tires are the biggest one. If you want a car that runs 11's, just make sure you are getting what he is claiming.

Does sound like a good price though.
