This site has lots of info on gasoline, and how it burns. It corrects a lot of misinformation that appears on other web sites, and it provides references for those who are interested. Note that the link takes you to Part 3 of 4, you will have to change the number in the URL to get to the other parts. I saved it to my hard drive, because they threaten to take it off of the internet. Good background info, on stuff like adding mothballs to gasoline, and on the actual chemicals in "normal" gas, as well as the lousy oxygenated stuff.
