87 gn is there an easy way to check for a crack flex plate or bad flex plate

The best way would be to remove the tranny so you can see the whole thing.

Bad spelling Reese? Really? Get a stethoscope so you can hear where the noise is coming from, and yes, I use spell check.

You can pull the torque converter inspection cover and roll the engine over by hand and see most of the flexplate but as mentioned above, the best way is remove the transmission so you can see where the flexplate bolts to the crank. Cracks tend to happen there anyways.
