Fittings for In and Out on Shurflo?

I am trying a diy alky with the Shurflo #2687 from Northern Tools. Does anybody know what size fitting I need to use on the In and Out sides of the Shurflo pump? Is it 3/8 NPT? I am going to be running stainless braided lines, maybe with AN fittings.

Many of the Shurflo pumps are 3/8" NPT female outlets.

Many adapters are available with male 3/8" NPT to the -AN fitting you want to use.

Don't know specifically what a #2687 is however.

The problem with the AN fittings is there are SAE and JIC. The aluminums are JIC as are the steel. The Brass are SAE.. but some can be JIC.

Cannot use aluminum unless its anodized and the coating is perfect. Cannot use steel. Stainless and brass are the only two typicals.
