Thought i would share this with you all,

We took my fathers 89 TTA to Sacramento Raceway last weekend and made one pass with it. It's a Festival car and is car # 0016. Highest boost i saw was 16 in high gear, on a 26x8" Hoosier Quick Time Pro, thru the exhaust and on pump gas. I shifted at 5700 and left at 3200 with 2#'s of boost. I put the car on my scales and it weighs 3704 with a half tank of gas and me in it.

60' 1.604
660' 7.46
MPH 94.2
1/4 11.70
MPH 116.97

We are very pleased with the performance on pump gas, next time out we hope to see a few 10 sec passes with more boost and a better 60'. Wish us luck!

Here's the specs on the car.

109 SG1 stock block with RJC girdle.
Stock crankshaft.
Stock rods with ARP bolts.
JE pistons and pins.
206/210 hyd. roller Cam.
Manton 3/8 pushrods.
Stock rocker arms.
Stock heads, hand ported with big valves and 941 Comp Cams springs.
ARP head bolts.
Stock hand ported intake with 65 mm t.b.
75# injectors.
One external and one internal fuel pump with two -8 lines feeding stock fuel rail.
Stock ECM with a Joe Lubrant chip.
Stock Intercooler. (no neck mods yet!)
ATR 3" downpipe.
ATR single 3" exhaust.
PTS built 200 4R with 10" 3000 converter.
Stock rear end and stock suspention.
The car also has a 6 point roll bar with removable door bars.

Nice times on pump gas. Turn that boost up!!
I have a Dutt necked TTA intercooler. I would be willing to trade for a stock unit. Is yours nice?.....Mine is.

Lemme know

Bo

Dang I guess Razor was right when he said I need tires. I am stock but I was leaving at only 2k rpms but I wasn't spinning. Those are some great times and with more boost.....lookout!!!

We have a stock GN intercooler that we plan on modifying. We also have a Duttweiler neck so we are good to go.

Thank's again for the offer!

Dominic,
Nice run. I live in Roseville and have a couple of TTA's. Give me a shout.
