Fire Jumping

Still chasing missing problem. Was looking for any type of fire jumping from spark plug wires last night and noticed fire jumping from spark plug base to block on all plugs. Is this normal? Plugs are all tight.

Doesn't sound very normal there Six shooter. Might check the coil pack end of the wires for poor connections. Thy are a waste spark ignition system. Are the Wires new?

The wires are about two months old. They are MSD 8.5 mm. Connections seem to be tight. The plugs are new gaped at 25 they are R44ts. I have never ran plugs gaped this tight, picked this up on this board. Was not sure what happens when the coil fires when it is not on the positive side. Thank you for your reply.

Well changed out plugs to autolites and car ran great. Car ran a new best of 10.86 at 123. It sure helps when they dont miss. Have a great day
