looks to me like it only updates as often as normal people update it. i don't think its automated. and there is a diesel section, at the very top of the page right under the gas pump picture 2 lines down you can select gas or diesel. i think it works the same no matter what state your in.
i found the way around the gas prices. tell your neighbor that gas prices are going to go up again, they are all a bunch of lemmings and will go get gas. then all you need is a 5 gallon jug and some rubber hose. next thing you know, you have free gas :biggrin:
