Factory Tach and Boost

Now that the swap is done and the car drives its time to get to the details. Anyone have any input on how to make the factory tach and boost gauge work? Any schematics or thoughts would probably be helpful. Thanks guys.

The tach can work using the pcm's output. Take a look at the pcm's pinout for your application to identify which wire/pin to use. As far as the boost gauge goes, does the turbo 6 use a sensor that can be attached to your piping?

the tach will need to be recalibrated for a V8.

the boost gauge should work, just follow the factory wiring setup.

The pcm can be retuned to output a 6 cylinder tach signal. They come with a 4 cylinder output.
