i just installed my new cotton's ext. dp and an external gate, which port do you use for boost controller top nipple or the bottom nipple?

It depends on your setup. Are you using an air regulator, RJC boost controller, etc.. Let us know.

if going tuner style(single hose from compressor to gate) , bottom of gate , on his the gate is sometimes upside down so keep that in mind bottom is closest to the valve side
this will yeald boost equal (or close) to the spring installed

if you blow into the top you will have boost pressure plus spring pressure and net very high boost unless you use an adjustable controller like the turbonetics adjusta boost or an electronic dual port controller

currently have an air bleed controler,but have the rjc hybrid on order. i have it hooked to bottom inlet goes to 20 then creeps up to 23
