exhaust manifold help needed

so the exhaust manifold gaskets blew out on my gn the last time i took it to the track. come to find out it's not supposed to have any gaskets (between head and manifold). i have read to use high temp silicone as a sealer when i put the manifolds back on with no gaskets but i would think that permatex copper spray gasket would be a better option to use. whats everyones opinions on what to use?

Have the flange surface machined flat, and no gasket, no nothing is required.... if they aren't flat, nothing will hold up....

High temp copper silicone. Torque the studs to factory spec, never a problem.
