exhaust gas temp gauge sensor location?

would anyone be able to tell me where to mount the sensor/sender for an exhaust gas temp gauge. my exhaust setup is stock.

What can be done is to put the EGT probe in place of the stock O2 sensor. And move the O2 sensor to the down pipe about 6 - 12 " from the turbo. Should also use a 3-wire heated sensor too.

This also has the advantage of 'freeing up' some space in the header right before the turbo.

The stock narrowband O2 needs to be before the turbo to get enough heat to light off.

When I did this to a set of stock headers I put a bung about 90 degrees from the stock narrowband. My TA headers had it in the same place
