what is the purpose of this i notice that it runs to b7 on ecm connector and is connected to knock sensor has ground and goes to ecm/ ign fuse does this send the sync signal to the ecm for spark at the ign. module this is the only thing i have not changed and think this may be it.

That is the 'electronic spark control' module. It's what pulls timing when the knock sensor detects trouble.

That is the knock detector module. It filters out all frequencies except those that it interprets as a true knock from the knock sensor and sends the signal to the computer which will pull timing out depending on the severity of the knock. It has nothing to do with sync for the timing. Timing sync comes from the cam sensor and crank sensor.
