Engine and Tranny VIN locations?

Wondering where the VIN is stamped on the engine and tranny. If there is a link to photos that would be even better.

Here's a picture of the driver's side of the block (standing on end). See the casting number, ending in 109? Look above that for a flat stamping area. That stamping area is as I said, on the driver's side, and right about where the tranny bolts up. It's verical as the engine sits in the car, and you have to look very carefully to see the digits stamped into the metal. You'll see the last 6 digits of the VIN

On the tranny, it has a stamping pad on the driver's side pan rail about 2/3's of the way back on the pan rail. Same last 6 digits of the VIN.
