Electric fan

Ok so i got a question how do i hook up my electric fan to cut on when the car is getting to hot or when its suppose to.. Right now i have it hooked up to were its running all the time.

I mean you need a relay and thermostat switch that tells the fan to come at 166

Its all good brad. But look where im suppose to put the thermostat thats were my water temp gauge is ran to. How do i run that??

Good question.....i would use a brass t fitting so you can run the idiot light, w gauge, and thermostat sensor for Efan. But if you have the 86/87 ecm then there's a harness kit that has the relay and the 86/87 ecm will turn it on at 166 and off at 160

I have the 87 ecm but havent put it in the car yet need to get a ttchip still for my ride.

Theres also this one http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.asp?ic=FNWH-002&eq=&Tp= but you already need to have electric fan option to connect to harness. They say you can hook it up with a simple switch, but I wouldnt do that.
