Edelbrock 122 screw supercharger

Has anyone used this supercharger on a sbc carbureted application?
It's made by magna charger I believe.
I'm looking to upgrade from my weiand 144 blower on my camaro.

They are a lot more efficient and make more boost the the Wiend with less parasitic loss. I was going to put a 122 on my vortec headed sbc a while back but went a different rout.

I'm trying to figure out what would make more power. A weiand 177 or the edelbrock 122 I know the 122 is more efficient but the 177 is bigger and I plan on putting alky injection on it which will help the efficiency of the 177

Well the 122 is bad boy but may run out of breath on a big stroker. I would use the wiend 177 on a 383-400 ci.

I was thinking about going to a pro charger but didn't want to buy a blow through carb and I have a hole in my hood now becouse of the clearance needed for the roots blower I currently have.
I also love the scream of the roots blower!
