Well I had my 87 T on the rollers today. The air was not all that great so I really did not expect much. After much trial and error I finally figured how to get a good pull on the dam thing. I made a total of 6 pulls. The best #'s were 454 hp with 575 ft. pounds of torque. The boost was set at 28 pounds. The air fuel was at 12:1
I was using a switch to lock the converter on all the runs. It was interesting to see the car peaked HP at 4800. I did not fool with the DFI in terms of fuel or spark, just fooled with fuel pressure. So it gets me to thinking that with some better air and some tuning of the DFI maybe 475 HP is possible !
